2:51Now PlayingHey there, welcome back to the channel. In today's video, we'll be discussing the latest update on Andrew Tate's release, straight from his lawyer's interview on the radio.
According to the lawyer, there's some big news coming in the next couple of days, which could determine whether or not Andrew Tate will be released. The existing detention order is set to expire on February 27th, and if the prosecution intends to extend it for another 30-day period, they'll have to make that request soon. However, the lawyer also mentioned that there's a tremendous amount of assets that have been seized, giving authorities the incentive to search and find evidence of wrongdoing in order to forfeit and keep these assets.
It's important to note that the police raided Andrew Tate's properties and searched them, but didn't find any evidence of crime. They seized assets in the events that they are able to later show that they are proceeds of ill-gotten gains. As of now, there are no charges filed against them, and the fact that they have four million dollars in assets gives authorities further incentive to detain them and continue to search for some crime so that they can try to forfeit those assets.
The lawyer also addressed allegations of people trafficking, and mentioned that they have enough evidence to counter those claims. He expressed confidence in their case and seemed optimistic about Andrew Tate's chances of being released, despite how he's been treated by the Romanian system so far.
We'll be keeping a close eye on the situation and updating you as soon as we have more information. So, if you want to stay up-to-date on this story, make sure to leave a like and subscribe to our channel with the notification bell turned on.
