2:53Now Playing@jayshetty If you’ve ever tried repeating affirmations like “I am enough”, but nothing really changed, you’re not alone.
Core wounds don’t live in the conscious mind. They live in the subconscious. And you can’t out-will your subconscious… you have to rewire it.
Here’s the 3-step process:
1️⃣ Identify the core wound (e.g., “I’m not good enough.”)
2️⃣ Create the opposite belief (“I am good enough.”)
3️⃣ Use repetition + emotion + imagery to install it.
Why emotion and imagery? Because every memory is a container of both. When you recall specific memories where you felt good enough, even small ones, you activate the emotional pathways that wire new beliefs.
Then, record yourself stating the new belief along with 10 supporting memories. Listen during suggestible states (after meditation, before sleep, first hour awake). In about 21 days of consistent repetition, you begin building new neural networks.
It’s simple. It’s practical. And it directly targets the patterns that quietly shape your relationships.
Because those core wounds?
They’re often the reason we repeat the same painful dynamics.
What’s one core belief you suspect has been shaping your relationship choices?
