10:33Now PlayingThe former CNN anchor Don Lemon and three other people arrested on charges that they violated federal law during a protest at a church in St. Paul, Minn., were released on Friday after initial court hearings.
The charges against Mr. Lemon, a second journalist and two protesters came on the heels of their indictment by a grand jury in Federal District Court in Minnesota. They were charged with a conspiracy to deprive the congregants of the church of their rights and to interfere with religious freedom in a house of worship, reviving a case that was rejected last week by a magistrate judge.
