America is WINNING its existential war against third-world invasion, with two major court victories in recent weeks that enormously discourage illegal migration and facilitate the deportation of those invaders!

Yesterday, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in Avila v. Bondi affirmed the authority of the federal government to subject illegals detained in the United States to mandatory detention, even if they have long lived illegally within our borders rather than being recent arrivals. This decision covers the states of Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota, roughly 7% of the US population.

This follows on the heels of the February 6 decision out of the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in Buenrostro-Mendez v. Bondi that also affirmed the federal authority for mandatory detention of illegals. That decision covered the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, roughly 12% of the US population.

These two appellate court decisions overturned a large number of rulings by lower unelected, black-robed tyrannical, inferior federal district court judges that had ordered the federal government to release many thousands of detained illegal migrants into American society during the period of years in which their deportation was being adjudicated.

In effect, they were being permitted to live in the United States for that entire period as if they had legally immigrated into the country, all the while competing with American citizens for every scarce American resource—housing, healthcare, education, employment, infrastructure, food, everything. Obviously this practice served as a huge incentive magnet for illegal migration into our nation.

Now, however, under these appellate rulings, these same illegal migrants know that if they get picked up they will be subject to mandatory detention, locked in an immigration detention facility, during that same period of years in which their status is adjudicated in the immigration courts. This is not the same as being free to loot American resources, and obviously will acts as a powerful disincentive for illegal migration into our nation.

Importantly, being held in these immigration detention facilities is a choice, as they are not prisons or even jails—any migrant detained is free to leave at any time. The only condition is that their destination must be someplace that is NOT America.
