To the surprise of no rational adult not afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome, the Iranian civilization did not “die last night,” despite the Progressive Left’s estrogenic hysteria over Trump’s typically hyperbolic Truth Social post.

Instead, and once again, another Trump deadline for Iran has advanced the military action’s core mission of opening the Strait of Hormuz and ensuring that Iran is no longer capable of closing it to maritime traffic.

Interestingly, the New York Times yesterday ran a lengthy article describing in tremendous detail how the decision was made by Trump to initiate these most recent military actions against Iran, including detailed descriptions of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s presentation at the White House that lit the fuse on the war against Iran.

This article is remarkable in two ways. First, the sheer level of detail suggests information sourced from a human asset actually present for the meetings described—which would be a hell of a leak to a normally hostile press, particularly the news organization that Trump so often refers to as “the FAILING New York Times.”

Second, while I expect the NYT reporters intended their article to cast Trump and his administration in a negative light, in fact any objective reading of the facts described can only conclude that America is blessed to have an administration operating not only with America’s national interests at the fore, but also at this incredible level of competence. This is sure not the Biden or Obama administrations—indeed, it’s not the sometimes bumbling Trump first-term administration.
