4:05Now PlayingHello, and thank you for joining The Benjamin Dixon Show - LIVE!
In this clip, Nick from Texas calls in to discuss the biases present in electoral politics and our role as voters that enable their campaigns of disinformation. Nick also reminds us of the hopes of the 2008 election of Barack Obama, who ran on a progressive platform and moved to the right when in office.
The audience in the chatroom loves this point.
Nick then brings up the point that executive politics is flipped, with the platform being distributed from the top down, rather than candidates taking the desires of the people they are running to represent and building their platform from those planks. This is a profound statement and is something we all really need to contemplate.
