Healthcare in America is an abject failure. We are the richest country in the world, but none of that wealth is being used to fund the basic medical needs of its people. We have $225 billion of medical debt as a nation, and 68% of people who get cancer go bankrupt from their medical bills. We quite literally can’t afford to LIVE in this country anymore.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed literally wrote the book on Medicare for All (Medicare for All: A Citizen’s Guide). He has rejected corporate PAC money, and the healthcare lobbies have thrown thousands of dollars against him… so you know he is doing something right! We need to elect people like Dr. Abdul if we ever want to create a government that actually delivers for working people again.
