"The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) has condemned recent comments made by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), in which she accused Democrats of worshiping George Floyd, the 46-year-old Black man who was murdered by a white Minneapolis police officer in 2020.
Speaking to a crowd of reporters after Monday’s House subcommittee hearing on the origins of COVID-19, Greene expressed her anger over comments made by Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.).
“We have Jamie Raskin in there accusing us of worshiping Trump, worshiping a convicted felon,” Greene said. "
