The hearing, titled “If I Could Turn Back Time: Should We Lock the Clock,” comes just months after a bipartisan group of senators reintroduced the Sunshine Protection Act. The bill, led by Sens. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and Rick Scott (R-Fla.), would make Daylight Saving Time — with its characteristically longer days — the year-round standard.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.
