as posted by the channelUtah County Attorney General Jeff Gray will give remarks to the media on Tuesday afternoon to provide an update after last week’s assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
During the press conference, Gray is expected to announce formal charges against shooting suspect Tyler Robinson. Robinson, 22, allegedly shot and killed Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University last Wednesday.
The FBI, who is assisting with the case, announced Monday that many of the suspect’s electronics have been seized, as well as a weapon and bullet casings that were found during the search for the gunman. President Trump, who was close to Kirk, has called for the death penatly.
The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EDT. A hearing, where Robinson is expected to appear, will follow around 5 p.m. EDT.
