1:02:32Now PlayingHouse Republican leaders will speak with reporters Tuesday morning as questions rise around the Pentagon’s strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s orders.
The Trump administration has argued, as tensions rise with Venezuela, that it does not need congressional approval to conduct the military operations. The moves have sparked a rift within the GOP, and Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) said last week that he is in “survival mode.”

The press conference is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EST.
