48:15Now PlayingRep. Mario Díaz-Balart (R-Fla.) and other lawmakers will hold a press conference Wednesday morning to press the Trump administration to indict former Cuban President Raúl Castro.
The Justice Department is reportedly mulling charges against the ex-leader as President Trump has threatened possible military action against Cuba, according to The Associated Press. Castro has been involved with talks between the U.S. and Caribbean nation after the island was hit with power outages after Trump issued a blockade on oil.
The potential indictment is connected to Castros alleged role in a shootdown of two planes in 1996 shootdown of two planes operated by a Miami-based exile group, the AP reported.
