Progressives Tore Into Cory Booker After He Deflected From Pro-Pharma Vote With Lies

Cory Booker thought he could get away with voting down an amendment proposed by Bernie Sanders and Amy Klobuchar that would have facilitated the importation of affordable prescription drugs from Canada. He responded by lying about his intentions, and progressives tore him apart for it. He claims he didn't support the amendment because he implied his doubt about Canadian regulatory standards, however, just last month he voted for the 21st Century Cures Act, which weakened federal regulatory and safety standards for prescription drugs. Sorry Booker, we're onto you.
