This news is unsurprising, as Trump made prior statements that indicate he doesn't understand what net neutrality is, but it's still problematic nonetheless. When the last FCC Chairman, Tom Wheeler, tried to stop net neutrality, he reversed his decision when President Obama expressed support for net neutrality. Now, however, with the President on his side, Ajit Pai is empowered to do what ISPs want: ruin the internet.
