Candace Owens demanded $300,000 to debate Andrew Wilson. Now she’s criticizing him for crowdfunding the money he put up to meet her own requirement.

They've now agreed to debate the claims surrounding Charlie Kirk’s assassination, but the drama over the money is continuing.

Andrew Wilson reportedly put up $300,000 of his own money to meet the financial requirement for the debate and then launched a voluntary crowdfund allowing supporters to help reimburse some of that cost. If the debate does not happen, the fundraiser says up to $300,000 raised will benefit Charlie and Erika Kirk’s children.

Candace Owens and some of her supporters are now criticizing Andrew for crowdfunding the money, with Candace make a ridiculous analogy.

Candace initially demanded as much as $500,000 to participate in the debate before the amount ultimately returned to $300,000. Andrew agreed to the terms, reportedly sent the money, and then gave supporters the option to voluntarily help cover the expense.

So how can the debate suddenly be characterized as an “unnecessary luxury” when the massive expense exists because Candace herself required the payment?
