Hamas should be blamed for the starvation in Gaza, says deputy State Dept. spokesperson

Deputy Spokesperson for the State Department Tommy Pigott said the two were there to make sure no aid is looted by Hamas.

"President Trump has a humanitarian heart, and that's part of this trip to see what is happening there and to also try to see if there's ways, as the president described, that we can get more aid to the people of Gaza, without it being looted by Hamas," Pigott told The National News Desk.

Horrific images of starving children in Gaza have been released and many have blamed Israel for the lack of food.
