Democrats call Texas redistricting 'racist' during Chicago news conference

Democratic lawmakers from Texas and Illinois slammed Texas Republicans Tuesday over redistricting efforts in the state during a press conference in Chicago, where some Texas State Democrats fled.

Rep. Al Green and others called the efforts “racist” and said it goes against the Voting Rights Act.
