Can Trump legally knock down the East Wing for ballroom construction? Leavitt says yes

Karoline Leavitt was hit with a barrage of questions Thursday about the legality of Trump’s ballroom construction following the demolition of the East Wing.

Leavitt used the time to remind reporters that renovations are not new and something presidents have done for years by showing printed out photos of past work on the White House.
