Vance announced government deferring $1.3 BILLION in MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENTS

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) said it is imposing a six-month nationwide freeze on new Medicare enrollments for hospices and home health agencies as part of a sweeping effort to crack down on fraud within the healthcare system.

"We're announcing that the federal government is deferring $1.3 billion in Medicaid reimbursements from the state of California -- and the simple reason is because the state of California has not taken fraud very seriously," Vance said.
