President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the UK parliament, thanking Britain "on behalf of the brave" and calling on the government to provide more support, specifically in the form of British fighter jets.
Zelensky argued that the Ukraine war will only end with the defeat of Vladimir Putin. The Ukrainian President also gifted the Speaker of the House of Commons, Lindsay Hoyle, a helmet of a Ukrainian fighter pilot, which had "we have freedom, give us wings to protect it" written on it.
