Donald Trump has arrived in the UK for an unprecedented second state visit.
The US president will meet Keir Starmer and King Charles while his MAGA lieutenants declare a crackdown on so-called "far-left terrorism" in the wake of Charlie Kirk's murder.
Meanwhile, Keir Starmer is under pressure after being forced to fire US ambassador Peter Mandelson over links with the paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. Trump, of course, is fighting his own battles on that front - attempting to cast the Epstein files as a hoax despite his campaign promises to release them in full.
Will Lloyd reports that Trump and his staff are "scared for their safety". He joins Rachel Cunliffe on the New Statesman podcast to discuss Trump's state visit to the UK.
