as posted by the channelHenry County, Indiana Sheriff John Mark Sproles is SUCH a Loose Cannon & a Liability that the county's insurance company (Travelers Insurance) is DROPPING Henry County MID TERM/CONTRACT.
After Sheriff Sproles tried laying the blame at everyone else's feet and after he explained everything that he and his Department have done (or will be doing) to cut down on liability... Commissioner Steve Dellinger spoke up to inform the Sheriff and everyone that while all the things the Sheriff said are all nice & good.
However, the issue at hand is, the county's insurance company is dropping them... meaning the county will no longer be insured... and it all stems from Sheriff John Sproles... the way he handles situations, his leadership style (or lack thereof) and all of the different lawsuits filed against him directly or the Department in general and the way he deals with that!
As a perfect ending to the 4 part saga... Commissioner Steve Dellinger put Sheriff John Sproles in his place... AND IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!
