Questionable Officials Cancel Meeting Ahead of the Upcoming Election to Avoid Public Scrutiny

The Delaware County, Indiana Redevelopment Commission is a 5 member board with its members being appointed by the Delaware County Commissioners & the Delaware County Council! Currently the Board is made up of the following members:

President - Bryce Conyers

Vice President - Rob Keisling

Member - Michelle Badders

Member - Angie Moyer

Member - Amber Greene

The DCRC was set to meet at 9a (Est) on Thursday, April 11th, 2024... this meeting would have been the last meeting the Commission would have BEFORE the upcoming 2024, Primary Election!

And, the meeting was looking as if it could have been an interesting event... as several Delaware County citizens were talking about attending and speaking their minds on a few serious issues! Those issues are:

#1) The Commission's President, Bryce Conyers, had done away with "Public Comment" and stated the meetings would stay that way! Needless to say, citizens were not happy with this, specifically, because Delaware County Commissioner James King attends the meetings, watching from the audience... but he routinely talks out from his seat! Well, if he can do it... citizens should be able to as well!

#2) A mailer was sent out to a large number of citizens throughout Delaware County in the last couple weeks of March 2024. This mailer had the look and feel of a "campaign mailer" and it was specifically pushing the strengths of the County Commissioners and it seemed as if it were really focused on pushing Jame King, who, is currently up for Re-Election. And it just so happens that the Delaware County Redevelopment Commission paid for the mailer... the only issue is, no one can recall the Commission ever voting to approve the expenditure, which cost nearly $13,000! And again, citizens are upset about this and they want to redress their government!

Well... a few weeks back President Conyers stated he would not be at the April 2024 meeting... which is just fine, there are 4 members, the VP can handle running the meeting, it happens all the time, in various meetings!

BUT THEN... only 2 days before the meeting was set... an email was fired off to all of the DCRC members letting them know that the Thursday, April 11th, 2024 meeting was canceled because of a "LACK OF A QUORUM"... on a 5 member board... 3 members make a quorum! And even though Conyers planned to be gone... that still leaves 4 people! So what happened?

Honestly, what it looks like... is... Conyers wasn't going to be there... and Michelle Badders and Angie Moyer were both TOLD not to be there!

But who told them that? And why? What is the connection? What purpose would it serve? Click on the video and find out all those answers and more!
