This is a clip of Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey interviewing Micah Beckwith, a Republican Candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Indiana. The Interview was recorded on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 9 a.m. (ET) and aired as episode 309 on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Several issues were discussed, and Bilbrey got Beckwith on the record, admitting to big news and saying some crazy things! (This clip is proof of that!) Bilbrey also noted that the interview was terrible for him, personally! He stated that he felt embarrassed upon listening to the interview the night it was broadcast. ALL THAT SAID - THE AWARD FOR THE MOST IGNORANT COMMENT IN POLITICS & THE WORLD GOES TO MICAH BECKWITH FOR WHAT HE SAYS IN THIS 45-SECOND CLIP!
To set this clip up, Beckwith talks for the entire 45 seconds. He is answering a question in which Bilbrey asked if he felt he was being sucked into the "Establishment side" of the Indiana State Republican Party!
Beckwith has labeled himself and been labeled by others as a "Constitutionally-minded, Conservative" fighting the "Establishment." However, Bilbrey, Host Brandon Rudd, and Producer Kate are unsure if Beckwith is still "fighting the good fight!" They think he has either sold out or has just ALWAYS been part of the "Establishment!"
Since winning the nomination in June 2024 against Julie McGuire, who was the pick that Governor Candidate Mike Braun wanted, Beckwith has surrounded himself with many people who are definitely "Establishment," for example, District 33 State Representative JD Prescott!
So it was during Bilbrey's question, right before this clip starts, that Bilbrey asked about Beckwith's connection to Prescott and his closeness to those on the "Establishment" side of the Republican Party. And that is when Beckwith starts talking about "the issue" that "grassroots people" have! He said, "We (grassroots people) do not play the long game... we play the blow everything up game! And then we get mad when it doesn't happen. But I'm a student of history!"
(JUST NOT A VERY GOOD STUDENT, BY THE LIKES OF WHAT HE GETS READY TO SAY)
He then dives into a bit of history, discussing WORLD WAR 2.
Beckwith goes on to say:
"If we (the US) would have dropped the atomic bomb on Japan earlier than we did, it would have galvanized the Nazis... and the, and the Italians... and the Japanese to be stronger!"
He goes on to say,
"We had to chip away at the Nazi stronghold in Europe, inch by inch - storming the beaches of Normandy... losing... for every inch, losing hundreds of men, in, in blood! Because - But we took inch, by inch, by inch. I SEE THE JD PRESCOTTS SOMETIMES (like) THOSE THOSE, UH, SOLDIERS THAT STORMED THE BEACHES OF NORMANDY! TAKING INCH BY INCH!"
AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! LADIES AND GENTS!
MICAH BECKWITH - HAVING NEVER SERVED IN THE UNITED STATES MILITARY...
SEES CURRENT "DO NOTHING," "TRY-GUY" STATE REPRESENTATIVE JD PRESCOTT (R) - WHO ALSO NEVER SERVED IN THE UNITED STATES MILITARY...
BECKWITH SEES HIM THE SAME AS THE MEN THAT GAVE THEIR LIVES ON D-DAY!
THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT EVEN COMPUTES! WHAT SAY YOU? DOES THIS UPSET YOU? IT SHOULD!
Prescott has wasted 3, going on 4 two-year terms in the Indiana State House, VOTING AGAINST HELPING HOOSIER VETERANS... AND BECKWITH SEES HIM AS THE SAME AS SOMEONE THAT STORMED NORMANDY!
