5:10Now PlayingDonald Trump Wants To Prosecute People Who Burn The Flag
Hello everyone, today I am breaking the news that Trump has "tweeted" that he would like to prosecute and make it a law that people who burn the American flag should either lose their citizenship or get a year in jail. This whole flag burning thing has already taken it's course, and has been a monumental case in the Supreme Court, in which the Supreme court ruled with a majority of 5-4 in the Johnson v Texas case, in which they said that political expression and symbolic free speech is protected under the 1st amendment. This is an amazing ruling by the supreme court that protects our 1st amendment and allows us as a nation to continue to be able to express ourselves to prevent censorship from the government, and also to continue to have the government represent the people as much as possible. Trump wanting to prosecute people who burn the flag is ridiculous, and he is infringing upon the constitution's 1st amendment, which is absolutely dangerous and outlandish.
