3:33Now PlayingNYPD To Allow Sikh Officers To Wear Full Turbans
The New York Police Department has said that it is changing it's policy to allow sikh officers to wear turbans and give them a pass because it is a "sacred garment". Many people are saying this is a huge win for people and it is discrimination to not allow it. However, the truth is that it could not be more wrong. Freedom of religion allows people to practice their religion privately, and not force it upon anyone. Also, it seems that they are simply getting a pass and getting special privileges that other people would not get in any other circumstances. Therefore giving special abilities and powers to religious people. Follow the guidelines for the uniform, it's quite simple.
