He points to something most Egyptologists dismiss outright: the hieroglyph for Ptah, the God described as the fashioner of human bodies, contains what appears to be a double helix. According to E. A. Wallis Budge's dictionary, Ptah was the architect of heaven and earth, the master craftsman in metals, and the designer of the human form. The academic position is that it's simply a string, and that ancient Egyptians had no knowledge of genetics. Yet here stands the deity explicitly credited with creating the physical body, holding a symbol that mirrors the structure of DNA. The question isn't whether ancient cultures had microscopes. It's whether they possessed knowledge of biological design through means we don't yet understand, and whether their symbolic language encoded information far more sophisticated than we've given them credit for.
