Republican Congressman Calls Trump A ‘Loser President’ And Says Supporters Must Accept Defeat

Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger this week didn't hold back when he went after both Donald Trump and his rabid supporters. Kinzinger said that Trump is a "loser president" and then went on to say that his supporters need to accept the fact that he was defeated in the 2020 election. Kinzinger made these comments after Donald Trump's rally this past weekend, and they couldn't be more true. Trump lost everything for Republicans yet they still cling to him as their savior. Following Donald Trump's rally this past weekend, Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger, who has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump in spite of still being a Republican. He went on TV, went on CNN, and he told them that Donald Trump was a loser president. But Kinzinger wasn't just on CNN to go after Donald Trump. Kinzinger also attacked other members of his party, both in office and just average Republican voters, saying it was past time for them to accept the fact that Donald Trump is a loser and that he didn't win the 2020 election. Here's what Kinzinger said, what you saw was a recycling of those old talking points. It was a rally of a loser president. He's the first president to lose reelection in decades. I don't know why these folks would go there and, and, and, and, and in essence, ogle at, and in many cases, just short of worship a loser, but they did. And he then added, it was high time for his Republican colleagues to recognize Joe Biden as the legitimate president. Ogle at, and at sometimes even worship a loser president.

Now, I agree with every word Kinzinger said, mostly because I've been saying those same words for about six months now. Donald Trump has been one of the biggest losers, if not the biggest Republican loser in my lifetime. Didn't win his reelection. Lost the House in 2018. Lost the Senate in 2020. Got impeached twice. There hasn't really been a bigger political loser in my lifetime on either the left or right then Donald J. Trump. He has fractured the Republican party, you know, cratered it right down the middle to where you have the sensible yet evil Republicans, and then the crazy and evil Republicans, the Trumpers, the MAGA folks. And that division continues to grow within the Republican party. We all know which side Kinzinger is on. He's sensible in the fact that he understands that Donald Trump lost. But he's also a little evil in the fact that he still votes with the Republicans for things like not giving Americans a stimulus. Not giving us an infrastructure package and basically not doing a single thing whatsoever to make the lives of American citizens any better than they currently are.

So, yeah, it's great that he's out there talking crap about Donald Trump. He's saying the same things that those of us on the left have been saying for years. But at the end of the day, dude, you're still a Republican and you're still enabling this with your policy votes. Same thing with Mitt Romney too, by the way, because Mitt Romney also came out and talked crap about Donald Trump following that, that rally last weekend. You know, same thing with Liz Cheney, all these people that some of those on the left like to hoist upon their shoulders and say, this is a good Republican. No, there really are no good Republicans left in Washington, DC, folks. So we can agree with them sometimes when they're attacking the person we like to attack. But we also have to remember that deep down, these are still horrible people that are doing absolutely nothing to help the American citizens.
