3:58Now PlayingFox News contributor and Donald Trump's daughter-in-law Lara Trump spoke to Sean Hannity this week where she made the bizarre and blatantly false claim that the COVID vaccines were about controlling people "from day one." She might want to check out a calendar, because "day one" was actually while her father-in-law was still President, and for months after that he continued to brag that he was the one who got the vaccines for the American public. This is just further proof that Republicans have no idea why they are attacking the vaccines, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

This past week, Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law to Donald Trump, wife of Eric, Fox news contributor, was speaking to Sean Hannity during a segment where she said that the vaccines have been about controlling people since day one. Since day one of the vaccines being available here in the United States, it's always been about controlling people. Here's what Lara Trump said. Well, it certainly seems like it. Look, I mean, you've just laid out so much important information. This has never, Sean, been about following the science. It's never been about following the facts and the truth. It's been about control from day one. Remember it was 14 days to slow the spread and that's how this started. And now here we are mandating, apparently, that people get a vaccine. Yeah, it was 14 days to slow the spread, by the way, Lara. But your father-in-law didn't do that.
Okay. That doesn't mean that the whole thing was supposed to be over in 14 days. It was, if we did everything necessary, 14 days slow the spread maybe we're going to be okay. We didn't do it. We're not okay. Why the hell are you even bringing that up? You're an idiot. Furthermore, from day one, you say, day one of the vaccine rollout, I wonder who was president when the vaccines came out. Do you remember that day of the Biden administration? No, you don't because it wasn't Joe Biden. It was your daddy in law, Lara. How are you this dumb? I mean, for real, this is about as dense as a human being can get. From day one it's been about control. Your father-in-law Donald J. Trump, former president of the United States, took credit for these vaccines for months and months and months before they came out. And then months and months and months after they came out, even after he left the White House.
Hell, at one point you idiots, the Republicans, were, were wanting to call it the Trump vaccine. But now you're saying since day one, which your father-in-law again was president for and he oversaw, you know, operation warp speed. Again, it's like I'm living in crazy town and I'm the only person that knows I'm in crazy town. So I'm the only one who recognizes how crazy it is. And I'm sure each and every person watching this feels the same way, because this is pure unadulterated stupidity and misinformation and lies and gaslighting coming from Lara Trump at Fox news. Your father-in-law was the president. He was the president for operation warp speed. Yes, he does deserve some of the credit for getting these vaccines produced.
He was president when they first came out. He got one and I guarantee you, Lara, you did too. So did Sean Hannity, I would have to imagine. The fact that none of y'all will admit to it, but you won't say you didn't get it, is kind of proof of that. This is obscene. This is absurd. And this is the level of gaslighting we're now seeing from the, from the folks at Fox news. The vaccine is not about control. If it is about any kind of control, it's about controlling the virus so people stop dying. But apparently people like Lara Trump would rather see people die than, I guess what, have vaccination rates increase and make Joe Biden look like he did something good.
