Republicans Demand Ballot Audits In Florida But Only Where Trump Lost

A far right Republican lawmaker from Florida is demanding a "forensic audit" of the ballots from 5 counties in the state, claiming that there would almost certainly be abnormalities found. The fact that all 5 counties are ones that Joe Biden won in 2020 is purely coincidental he would like us to believe, but it isn't hard to see what's happening. The lawmaker also falsely claimed that audits in Arizona and Georgia had revealed huge abnormalities, though there is absolutely no evidence to back up these claims. Florida Republican lawmaker, Anthony Sabatini, this week is asking the Florida secretary of state to conduct full forensic audits of the ballots here in the state of Florida. Oh, but don't worry, you know, I mean, Trump won Florida, so they actually don't want to look at all the ballots. No, just a couple of select counties that Sabatini thinks there could be some shenanigans that took place in these counties. And those counties are Broward, Hillsborough, Miami Dade, Palm Beach and Orange County. And if you're not familiar with Florida politics, let me just go ahead and tell you straight up, those are all counties that Joe Biden won. In those five counties, Joe Biden prevailed over Donald Trump, even though Trump ultimately went on to win the state and Sabatini comes along and says, now, hold up now. I'm not trying to be partisan or anything, but let's go ahead and just do a forensic audit of these counties, you know, just to be safe. Here is what he says.

A full forensic audit of the five counties must be done immediately. Florida voter's confidence in our elections is at an all time low. Disturbing revelations in Arizona, Georgia and other states make clear that the secretary of state needs to do more than attempt to secure future elections. They must also look back and ensure that laws already on the books were followed in previous elections. I'll go ahead and stop you right there Mr. Sabatini. See, here's the thing, there haven't been any revelations from Arizona or Georgia or other states, like you claim. Could you please tell us what those revelations are? Can you please point on a map where all the fraud took place? I know we have the one dude, the Trump supporter up in Pennsylvania who registered his dead mother to vote for Donald Trump. So sure you could point to that one. That's a startling revelation.

Do we need to investigate more Trump supporters for potential voter fraud? Because as far as I know, all the cases we've seen so far have in fact, been Trump supporters. Pretty much, by the way, the same case with the 2016 presidential election, four cases of fraud, three of them Trump supporters, one of them actually voting for the mayor,, I believe it was down in Miami Dade county. Those were all the cases of fraud from the 2016 election. So that's where we're at. Sabatini doesn't actually care about election integrity. Sabatini doesn't really think that there were any shenanigans in those five counties. He just wants to see and he just wants to prove a political point by investigating these counties that Joe Biden won. We are going to see more of this, not just here in the state of Florida, we're going to see it all over the country.

And we know that because we're already seeing it all over the rest of the country. Republicans now have a new weapon, these so-called forensic audits in areas where they didn't win. Cost a lot of money, takes a lot time and ultimately doesn't give them any of the results that they wanted. By the way, in case you weren't paying attention to what's happening out in Arizona because this is on the same topic, cyber ninjas apparently screwed up the voting machines so bad that they now cost the state $2.8 million to have to fix, repair or replace them. Yeah. So good luck with that. You totally deserve it.
