Footage emerged over the weekend showing customs and border patrol agents on horseback appearing to both whip and otherwise terrorize Haitian migrants trying to cross into the United States. Here's a brief clip from Twitter. So take a look at what these border patrol agents were doing to these migrants. Here it is. That scene looks like it could have played out in the American South in the pre Civil War days. That's how disgusting that imagery truly is here, and let's be honest, that's how disgusting those individuals on those horses are acting. That what they were doing down there is 100% illegal. They do not have the authority. There is no law protecting them, allowing them to go down there and physically assault these individuals or terrorize them with 2000 pound animals. Here's the other thing that I think everybody needs to remember here too. Do you know what kind of crime it is to cross the United States border illegally?

It's a misdemeanor. So those people were in fact, sure, committing misdemeanors under United States law and this is the response they got. This is the welcome they got here in the United States. We're going to whip you. We're going to run our animals right up to you to make you fall back into the water. This is sick. And the White House yesterday was asked, Jen Psaki press secretary was asked about these videos and the images and she said, ah, you know, it's, it's horrifying, but we've got to look more into it and we'll get back to you. Then, of course, you had Homeland Security head Alejandro Mayorkas who said, this is ridiculous. He said, well, to ensure control of the horse long reins are used, but we're going to investigate the facts to ensure that the situation is, as we understand it to be and if it's anything different, we will respond accordingly. It's a lot of words to say absolutely nothing.

You could have condemned this. You could have just said, listen, we're going to go find the individuals who did this. We're going to fire them. And then we're going to prosecute them. End of story. Thank you for your time. That's what you should have said. But instead you gave an answer, basically what we would expect coming from the Trump administration. And that's another thing I think everybody watching this needs to remember. How would you be reacting right now had this happened under the Trump administration? This would be wall to wall coverage on every major outlet on every progressive media outlet. Everybody would be talking about Trump's people down there whipping these migrants. But it's happening under Biden and it is not getting the attention it deserves. This is the story, folks. This is the story today. This is the that everybody should be talking about.

This is the thing that everybody should be concerned about. And this is the thing that everybody should be pressing the Biden administration for answers on, because this is unacceptable. This is a violation of human rights, and it's a violation of United States law. You know, people a few years ago were called crazy, unrealistic, for calling for the abolishing of ICE and other border patrol agencies. I think this video, these photographs, what we're seeing them do down there right now. Yeah.
