During an interview on Steve Bannon's war room podcast this week, Matt Gaetz predicted that more indictments in his ongoing scandal are coming down the pipeline. Except of course he doesn't think any of the indictments are going to be against him. No, no, no. He believes there's going to be more indictments against individuals involved in the scheme to extort his family because as we all know, that's, that's the real, real scandal here, right? Here's what Gaetz had to say. I'm glad you gave me this opportunity to tell the country that my family was being extorted on a pile of lies. A lot of folks thought that was farfetched. Now the first indictment has dropped. I expect that there should be other indictments unless there are folks at the DOJ protecting people. Yeah. He also, at one point mentioned, you know, he's, he's still worried about the deep state coming after him.

You know, totally false, totally false. Just the deep state coming after him because of who he is. But, uh, yeah, the real scandal is the extortion plot. And of course, as we reported at the time, a couple of weeks ago, you did have a Florida man by the name of Stephen Alford who was indicted for attempting to extort the Gaetz family. Here's the problem Matt Gaetz has though. The revelation of the extortion plot does not exonerate Matt Gaetz. In fact, it actually makes him look more guilty because the thing the man was trying to do was not make the investigation go away. He was trying to tell the fam, or did tell the family, he didn't try to, he told the family, give me money, I'll get you a presidential pardon. Because they knew what was happening with the investigation. And he said, look, I got, I got connections, right?

I can get you a presidential, pardon, but it's going to cost you. That was the extortion. The man wasn't saying he could make the investigation go away. The man wasn't threatening to reveal anything about Matt Gaetz. He was trying to get some money and, you know, claimed he could get him a presidential pardon. That doesn't disprove any of the allegations against Matt Gaetz at all. In fact, it lends more credence to them, as I said, because it proves that other individuals knew what was taking place. Sure. They tried to capitalize off it and that is illegal. And I'm glad the man was indicted, but Matt, that doesn't exonerate you. And of course it doesn't even mean there were others involved in the plot. Sure. There's the question of how Alford came to know this information. So I guess that's a thing. Perhaps the individual who leaked it to him could be indicted. But you really do need to worry about yourself, right?

You, you need to be looking in the mirror here because you're not out of the woods yet, buddy. Even though the investigation has been relatively quiet up until again, a couple of weeks ago, not even with this story, but the news that, uh, you know, your good buddy Greenberg from south Florida there, has given thousands of videos, pictures, text messages and emails, some of which do appear to directly implicate you in the plot to pay women for sex. Some of them who were underage at the time could have possibly been individuals that you paid for sex.
