Fox News Rushes To Kyrsten Sinema's Defense

Senator Kyrsten Sinema is being confronted by angry Americans about obstructing the Biden administration's agenda, and she isn't happy about having to answer those questions (so she isn't.) But she now has a new group rushing to her defense: Fox News. The folks at the conservative network find it appalling that Sinema is being confronted about the consequences of her actions, and they believe that this is the worst thing that could ever happen. Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema has had a rough go of it recently. She is being confronted by angry American voters, asking her why she wants to essentially obstruct the Biden administration's agenda and tank the Democrats chances of winning in the 2022 midterm elections. However, the people who have actually confronted her are not even being that harsh about it. They're just asking her, what do you want to cut from the bill? Why do you not support this? Why do you not think this piece of the legislation is a good idea? And sure they followed her into a bathroom and, you know, the whole ethics thing we could argue all day about that. Not that I necessarily support it, but most of the other confrontations, there's been one at an airport. There's been one on an airplane and nothing really intense there. But Sinema has now found a new group of defenders and predictably those defenders are coming from Fox news. Listen to them just yesterday, defending Sinema against these crazed liberals. Take a look.

Yeah. Not only that, well, they're totally ignorant, these protesters. This, uh, DACA recipient, this immigration activists. They want a path to citizenship, which the parliamentarian Elizabeth McDonough has said, it's not even allowed to be in the bill. So they don't even know why they're protesting. You know, where was the FAA when Kyrsten Sinema was getting assaulted on that airplane? I'm sorry. Where we're the flight attendants there, guys? I'm just shocked by that video. I'm a former flight attendant. I would have immediately stepped in and assisted her. Well if she would have taken off her mask they would have been there. If a two-year-old, you know, can't keep their mask on then, oh, they show up, and then you're thrown off the plane. But that DACA recipient, who was.

It's just terrible what's happened to Kyrsten Sinema. She's having to answer questions from people being directly affected by her decision to not support this legislation. And let me read, here are actually some of the exchanges, right. They, they were talking about the airports and the airplane. So here's what happened to her. Here's what was said to her in the airport and on the airplane. And by the way, you can see in the clip that they just showed, there was video of her in the airport. She didn't look like she was being accosted. She didn't look like she was being, as they put it, assaulted. She was walking and somebody was walking with her asking questions. Here's one of them. This is the one that took place at Ronald Reagan airport in Washington, DC. Hi, Senator Sinema. I want to ask if you'd explained to the American people, what you're planning on cutting from Joe Biden's build back better plan. Do you want to cut climate priorities? Is an elder care you'd, that you want to cut or is it childcare? Oh no. That's assault, according to Fox news. On the plane, this is what she was asked. This is my life and the life of millions. Can we get a commitment from you to get a pathway to citizenship?

Well, oh my God, call the police. Can you imagine the audacity of a human being walking up to a sitting Senator and saying, hey, can we get a commitment from you for a, you know, a pathway to citizenship? This is not assault.
