4:13Now PlayingConservative talking head Candace Owens is still angry about Big Bird encouraging children to get vaccinated, while also trying to claim that this is NOT why conservatives are "melting down." The truth is that Owens peddles in outrage, and that's about all that she knows how to do. If she doesn't have something to be angry about - or something to tell her audience that they need to be afraid of - then she has absolutely nothing to talk about. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Republicans are still having a collective meltdown over the fact that Big Bird has encouraged children as he has done for 50 years to get vaccinated. And Candace Owens was the latest individual to meltdown about Big Bird while totally proclaiming that the right is not melting down about Big Bird. So take a look at this incredibly, I don't know what to even use to describe it, but this tirade that Candace Owens went on earlier this week. Here it is.
Last counterpoint, counterpoint number three, because obviously this creepy dystopian segment inspired a considerable amount of backlash online. And in response to that backlash, the left claims conservatives are melting down over Sesame Street. Conservatives are mad about Big Bird. No, it's not Big Bird that we're melting down over. Big Bird is harmless. Big Bird teaches shapes and numbers and sing songs to children to show them how fun learning can be. What conservatives or, you know, any individual with a thinking brain is upset about and what we are responding to is the big pharma pervert dressed up as Big Bird to coax children away from the decisions of their parents.
That's deranged. That is absolutely an unhinged way of thinking about what's happening here. What's also very interesting though, is that she just opened herself up for a slander lawsuit, a defamation lawsuit, because she called the individual in Big Birds suit, a pervert. I mean, you can sue somebody for defamation just if they call you a liar. So imagine the liability that Candace Owens just opened herself up to by calling this individual a pervert. And I hope you get sued. I hope you get sued and taken for everything that you have because that, in my opinion, is what you deserve. You weren't stating it as an opinion that this individual was a pervert. And for the record calling somebody a pervert isn't even necessarily a matter of opinion. So I don't even know that you could use that defense if you were to get sued for defamation.
But again, I hope that that is the route that Sesame Street chooses to go here. We know they won't because Sesame Street is going to be the bigger entity here. The bigger person, I guess, if you will, because Candace Owens likes to play dirty. Candace Owens likes to feign outrage about things that nobody actually cares about because that's all the Republican right knows how to do. Could you imagine what would happen if Candace Owens had to actually go on that show and explain to people why we have a supply chain shortage? Do you think she could get that in depth with the economy and the laws of supply and demand and how the pandemic affected things and what happened when people started going back, she would crater.
Because based on what I've seen from her, I do not believe she has a shred of intelligence to her name. So that's why she makes crap up. Just like earlier this year, when she was going on tirades about Dr. Seuss being the victim of cancel culture, Mr. Potato Head being the victim of cancel culture. She had her own little shelf, her cancel corner she called it, of all the things the so-called left has canceled, even though nobody did those things. You're the one trying to cancel something here, Candace, you're trying to get the actor who plays Big Bird canceled because you're calling them a big pharma pervert and labeling them all as child predators.
