Geraldo, and the people that he is calling out, are working for a network that has a vaccine mandate in place that has been there long before the Biden Administration's mandate was even conceived. For many months now, Fox news, everybody working at Fox news, has been living under a vaccine mandate. The employer says you get vaccinated or else you got to submit to daily testing and wear a mask all the time. If you're vaccinated, hey good for you. Make sure you turn in your paperwork so you can have your little vaccine passport, you know, the same exact things that Fox news rails against every single day on the air. So of course we all thought it was a little hypocritical for the network to be living under a vaccine mandate while trashing vaccine mandates and vaccines on the air. But apparently so did someone that works at Fox news, someone named Geraldo Rivera. And this week during an appearance on Sean Hannity's program, alongside Dan Bongino, Geraldo took the network, including Sean Hannity to task for being such massive hypocrites. Take a look.

I despise vaccinated people who are smug in their protection, who urge unvaccinated people to exercise their freedoms.

What if they get tested every day?

Like the guy on the street, telling the guy on the ledge to jump because you're protected, you're safe. The only person Fox news is harming with their anti-vaccine rhetoric is their audience. If you think that everybody walking around that Fox news building, all the hosts, all the on air talent, if you think they're not vaccinated, you've got another thing coming. Okay. I guarantee you, they have done everything humanly possible to protect themselves from the virus. I guarantee you they are being safe. I guarantee you they're not letting people get too close to them when nobody's watching. You know what happens when they're in public, what happens when they're on the air, that may be a different story. But these people are safe. These people are protected. And of course, even if they were to get sick, these people have money. They have lots of money. They can afford the best treatments known to man without even worrying about the bills, willing to bet most, if not all of their audience can't do that.

And that's another part of this hypocrisy problem that we're seeing at Fox news. But I am glad that Geraldo called out these individuals on the network. They are hypocrites, they're charlatans, and they're absolutely endangering their own viewers. But more importantly, by encouraging people to not get vaccinated, they're also prolonging the pandemic. Those of us who played by the rules. Those of us who actually made sacrifices. Those of us who went out, got vaccinated, we are protected. We still wear masks. We deserve a better country because we've done everything humanly possible to get out of this pandemic and to protect ourselves and everyone else. So at this point, it is unfair to us, that people like Fox news hosts are still out there encouraging people to not comply. We deserve better than this. The country deserves better than this. And Geraldo beautifully nailed his own colleagues for being the absolute worst kind of hypocrites on this subject.
