So far this week he has not only falsely claimed that Trump acted "quickly" to quell the Capitol Riot, but he is also bizarrely claiming that the text messages are somehow being "weaponized" against Republicans. The truth is in the messages, and if releasing them is "weaponizing" anything then it is a good indication that the content is absolutely devastating to Republicans. Donald Trump's former chief of staff Mark Meadows is right now in both full panic mode and full damage control mode. During an interview this week on Newsmax Meadows tried to claim that the text messages that he has turned over to the January 6th select committee, the text messages that are now basically public knowledge, are being weaponized. Now he didn't say who they're being weaponized against. I'm assuming obviously he means Donald Trump, himself, the people at Fox news, but he thinks they're being weaponized against them. Here's the thing, Mark. They're not being weaponized. They're simply being revealed. See, there's a world of difference between those two things that I don't think Mark Meadows quite appreciates at this point. If they were being weaponized, they would be taken out of context. They would be used in ads to attack Republicans as look what they are.

But nope, instead they're just being revealed to the public so that we can get a better understanding of what exactly transpired that day. And of course, with the Fox news text messages that have been revealed, it tells us a lot about that network because obviously they're going on air that same evening telling us that, oh, we think this was Antifa doing this. When in reality, we now know they knew it was their own people. It was Republicans. It was Fox news viewers. That's what it was. But Mark Meadows understands that he has a very real problem right now. He has a problem with Donald Trump. Trump is not happy about any of this. His Republican allies are not happy about any of this. Mark Meadows is very quickly finding himself alone while trying to navigate this January 6th committee, which he is now, of course, as we know, not cooperating with. And if you've got nobody there to have your back because you have, you know, inadvertently thrown them all under the bus, you're in trouble.

This is a collective effort for these Republicans. They gotta stick together. You know, that's why you've got a whole gaggle of 'em right now, planning on pleading the fifth when they go in front of the committee, they're presenting a United front. There's nobody left to unite with Mark Meadows. You've burned all the bridges, whether you intended to or not, Mark, it's over. So my advice to Mark Meadows right now since you are in a bit of damage control mode is let it go. Go back to the committee, which of course, as we all know now has also voted to hold you in contempt. You're facing legal problems now as a rule, as a result of this, obviously much like Steve Bannon. Go back to the committee and say, I screwed up. Let's sit down, let's talk. I'll give you whatever else I have. That is your only option at this point. You are not gonna win back your friends in the Republican party. You're not gonna win favor with Donald Trump. Okay. You've killed your career.

Not because this stuff came out, but because we get to see how truly corrupt and dishonorable you are now. Everybody knows this. You are finished, Mark. So the best thing you can do is, is ride that wave.
