4:14Now PlayingRepresentative Marjorie Taylor Greene spent the anniversary of the January 6th Capitol attack with her good friend Matt Gaetz, and Greene proved to be the more ridiculous of the two during an appearance on Steve Bannon's podcast. Greene said that she was "appalled" by Biden's speech, and went on to blame HIM for bringing America to its darkest days in the first year of his administration. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins debunks the lies that Greene spread during that appearance.

So, as I mentioned earlier today, Marjorie Taylor Greene teamed up with Matt Gaetz yesterday to go on a history revisionist tour. But the first stop of course, was Steve Bannon's podcast because that's where these two idiots always have to go because it's pretty much one of the only shows that'll have them on. But Marjorie Taylor Greene not to be outdone by Matt Gaetz and his crazy conspiracy theories goes on Bannon's podcast and she says the following. I'd like to first talk about what president Biden talked about when he said, darkest days leading to light and hope. I was so appalled at that because I truly feel like the darkest days in America have been over the last year and a half. It's been horrific, horrific. Right now in America, darkest days, you want to talk about what that means, that means their jobs have been sold out to foreign countries.
Our borders are being invaded, families are being ripped and torn apart because of the appalling attack on our culture and our religious values that build our traditional family values. And what the hell are you talking about? For real. Look, I am 100% against any American jobs being shipped overseas. Don't get me wrong. But have we seen any stories about that happening in the last 12 months during a global pandemic? No, you're lying. You're making that up. You said nothing by the way about the millions of jobs shipped overseas lost here in America during the Trump administration. So we know you don't actually really care about that. Attacks on religious freedom, that hasn't happened. In fact, let's be honest, that never happens when Democrats have control. Republicans always like to say it's gonna happen, but it never does because, you know, the first amendment forbids them from doing that.
However, your party, Marjorie, is in fact trying to impose their religious beliefs, trying to legislate those into reality in states like Texas and Florida and Georgia, because that's what y'all do. It's not based on science. It's not based on public health and safety. It's based on your perception of what religious beliefs are. But no, nobody's curtailed any of that. You're making that up. The culture war issues, that's all you. You and your party are the ones who push the culture wars because you have nothing else to talk about. You have no policy ideas. The Republican party hasn't had a new idea in 40 years and that new idea, as we all know, was trickle down economics, which was a complete and total fail, total failure. But you don't get to sit there and say that, oh, it's the darkest days here because Biden's doing these things, Biden's not doing those things. He absolutely is not.
And it me off that you're making me have to defend this administration that I'm not even happy with, but you also cannot sit there and spread these ridiculous lies just because nobody on the air calls you out on them. Everything she is saying is untrue, everything, because that's all she has. She has lies, propaganda and her idiotic Republican talking points. Because beyond that, the woman has no actual idea how to legislate, just like that dip, Matt Gaetz, who's there with her. They don't know how to legislate. They don't know how to lead. All they know how to do is lie to your face and scare you into voting Republican. And then once they get power, eh, they don't exactly know what to do with it because they're all idiots.
