Democrats In Panic Mode As Biden's Disapproval Rating Hits Record High

In a troubling sign for the Democratic Party, a new poll shows that President Biden is getting failing grades on both his handling of the economy and the pandemic. Inflation fears continue to drive economic uncertainty, and the surge of the Omicron variant is leading many to question whether Biden is up to the task. But the real people who are going to pay for this are the Democrats up for reelection this year, as voters will take out their frustrations with Biden on the rest of the Party. Well folks, we are officially in an election year, 2022 midterm elections. Republicans are already in a fairly decent position to retake at least the House of Representatives and the situation for the Democrats continues to get worse, unfortunately. And the news this week makes things even more difficult. According the latest round of polling, Joe Biden's disapproval rating has actually hit a new high once again, with the majority of Americans saying they disapprove of his handling of two key issues. The first one being the economy, second one, his handling of COVID. Now about a month ago, Joe Biden had positive numbers on his handling of the pandemic. That began to change in mid-December and of course, here we are early January and it's completely underwater now. A lot of that obviously has to do with the Omicron surge, but the poll shows a majority of Americans now say, this administration is not doing enough to mitigate the pandemic. And what I find interesting about that is that that statement is simultaneously true and not true.

It's true in regards to the fact that they could be sending out tests, they could be sending out masks and they're not. They could be putting mask mandates for domestic air travel in there or not mask mandates, vaccine mandates. They're not. I think they should go full balls to the wall and do everything they can. Get people free masks, get people free tests, make sure that if you wanna fly on an airplane, you've taken the vaccine. But they're not doing these things. So yes, they're not doing enough. On the other hand and this is something Biden does say a lot, it's a pandemic of the unvaccinated. And that's not to say that vaccinated people aren't getting sick. They absolutely are. We know that. But they're not dying at the rates that the unvaccinated are. They're not going to hospital at the rates that the unvaccinated are. Most of the fully vaccinated individuals that get this, they're out sick for a few days, and then they get over it and they move on. There's no long haulers with the vaccinated that we, that we see on a regular basis here. It is the unvaccinated. It is the people who are fighting against mask mandates, fighting against, you know, working remotely or having remote schooling.

That's not Biden's fault. That's y'all's fault. You can't fault him for that. You can't blame him. But they do and that is unfair. Now, the other issues you can blame him for that, that is fair because those are things he could do, but he's not. So I always think it's important to point out those distinctions. You know, I've talked a lot about Biden's poll numbers. We talked a lot about Trump's poll numbers back in the day as well, but you do have to discern what's real, what's fair and what's not. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter because if the public holds these opinions, they hold those opinions. All we can do is try to explain it better to them so that maybe they understand, yes, there's things he could be doing. But there's a lot of idiots out here also that are making things so much worse and he can't control that. But here's the problem. You have a vast majority of independents and when I say vast, I'm talking 70 to 80% who give him a failing grade on his handling of the pandemic and the economy.
