Donald Trump is hosting a rally in Arizona on Saturday, and the event will feature some of the dumbest people who have helped push his bogus election lies. Among them are MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and disgraced Republican Representative Paul Gosar. In addition to spreading lies, the event will likely also be spreading COVID, as cases across the country continue to surge. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

This Saturday, January 15th, Donald Trump is heading over to Arizona with an all-star cast to once again spread election lies and possibly spread even more than that. It was announced earlier this week that Donald Trump at the rally that's gonna take place, again in Arizona, which has been a hotbed for the conspiracy theories about the 2020 election. He added a couple names to his list of special guests that day. And those names are MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and disgraced Republican representative Paul Gosar. They will be speaking at this pro Trump anti election rally. And just for the record, here are the rest of the speakers featured. Kari Lake, Donald J. Trump endorsed candidate for governor of Arizona, state representative Mark Finchem, representative Paul Gosar, representative Andy Biggs, representative Debbie Lesko, Dr. Kelli Ward, chairwoman of the Republican party of Arizona, Dr. Alveda King, who was the Donald J. Trump for president 2020 advisory board member.

Boris Epshteyn, who of course is the guy who was Donald Trump 2020 strategic advisor and advisory board member, also big media guy. And then of course, Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, because that's totally not out of place with all of these other people who either worked on Trump's campaign or are sitting or trying to be sitting politicians. Throw the pillow guy in there. Why not, right? He's not totally disgraced as it is. But here's what really gets me about this. In addition to spreading these election lies, which is what the purpose of the rally is, there's gonna be something even more important spread during that rally and that's COVID. We are currently witnessing at least every couple of days, breaking new records here in the United States for total number of new COVID infections. The Omicron variant is absolutely running rampant across this country. So to hold a rally with people in close proximity, I'm willing to bet none of them will be wearing masks. This is going to turn into a super spreader event.

So anybody in Arizona contemplating whether or not to go to Donald Trump's rally here, ask yourself this question. Am I willing to die or am I willing to get seriously ill, possibly live with lifelong health consequences as a result of that, just to hear the pillow guy tell me the 2020 election was stolen for the millionth time in the last 12 months? Is it worth it folks? Because if you think it is worth it, then by all means go attend the rally. You know, that's your personal choice. I can't stop you from doing that. But if you think that maybe listening to some of the craziest people in this country tell you the same thing over and over and over that has been debunked over and over and over isn't worth risking your personal health, then yeah, maybe the Arizona Trump and pillow rally isn't for you. But again, we can't tell you what to do and what not to do. But I'm willing to bet, as I said, misinformation isn't the only thing that's going to be spread on Saturday.
