Right Wing Trucker Convoy Gets Defeated By Regular DC Traffic

The trucker convoy that attempted to disrupt traffic around the beltway in Washington, D.C. this week ended up being foiled by regular DC traffic. The convoy, which is being supported by Right Wingers in the United States, is calling themselves the "Freedom Convoy," though they appear to have absolutely no idea what that means or what they stand for. The people's convoy kind of a makeshift off market brand of the Canada freedom convoy from a couple weeks ago, the people's convoy took place in Washington, DC this week, hundreds of big trucks, 18 wheelers and of course, just average people in their cars banded together to block up traffic around Washington, DC, to protest something. Even they're not quite sure what they're protesting and they did it for a couple days and each and every day, this convoy was defeated by regular Washington, DC traffic around the beltway. Multiple trucks broke down. So they couldn't, they couldn't continue on with the convoy. Regular traffic kept getting in and out of the convoy. So the convoy ended up getting broken up. Many of them ended up getting lost, just trying to do this loop around the Capitol. So they kind of peeled off from the convoy and nothing happened.

Traffic was not slowed down at all, which of course was the whole point of this convoy. Nobody was inconvenienced except for the people who took place in it, who had to spend, God knows how much money on gas as gas prices continue to soar and they're just burning it up, doing absolutely nothing. And I say, absolutely nothing because as interviews with some of these folks has revealed, they have no idea what they're doing or why they're doing it. You know, some of them, of course, like in Canada, claim that they're, they're doing these convoys, which they they're vowing to come back still, they're doing it to protest all the COVID mandates that don't exist here in the United States. We have collectively as a country, very stupidly, decided we're done with COVID even as a new variant emerges. Just not gonna do it. Not, no masks.

You know, the courts have struck down the vaccine mandates. So there is literally nothing for these people to protest in terms of COVID mandates. So some of the them have now said we've turned it into just a general protest against the Biden administration. Okay, fine. What's your grievances with them though? Literally, what has the Biden administration done that is these people off? If you are mad about the mandates. Okay. Got it. But those are gone. So what else? And that is question that I think not just these truckers are having trouble answering, but most other hardcore right wingers in this country also don't seem to understand. Why do you hate this administration? What have they done to you? What have they done to harm you? And don't say gas prices because they don't control those. Inflation, also a little bit out of their control. There's a couple things they could do, but not very many that would have a, you know, huge impact.

So that is a question I do want answered from these conservatives. I want detailed lists about what Biden has specifically done that you think is so horrible to this country and you better back it up with sources too. Because as far as I can tell good or bad, nothing really has happened. Biden at this point almost seems like a placeholder. We're not getting the improvements we do need. We did get a one trillion dollar infrastructure bill, which Republicans are now out there trying to take credit for. So that was a good thing. Not them taking credit for it, but passing it. But other than that, he hasn't done anything to you off. Your taxes haven't gone up. Taxes on wealthy people haven't gone up. We're not involved in, in the Ukraine, Russia conflict.
