Not only do they still have a "wait list" of people who can't access the site, but they continue to plummet in total number of downloads. To make things worse, the former President STILL isn't using the site, taking away one of the biggest draws the network may have had. But what's really plaguing the product is basic economic theories, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Donald Trump's truth social app continues to disappoint everyone who tries to sign up for it. This week, the app has finally fallen out of the top 100 apps in the Apple app store and is now comfortably sitting at 116th place between the app for door dash drivers and a genie that tries to guess the name of internet celebrities. But on top of that, the platform still has a roughly 800,000 user wait list. So even if you went to sign up right now, you wouldn't be able to get in, because they're just for some reason, slowly phasing people into the site. So fewer people are downloading it. It has literally lost a couple million hits per week since it was launched on February 21st and it's only continuing to go down. And more importantly, there's nothing for anyone to do there. That is actually one of the number one complaints people are saying. We get on there, all we see is the same thing that these right wing celebrities and politicians have posted on their Twitter.

They've just copied and pasted it over here to truth social. So what's the point? And really that is the point, what's the point? See the issue here is that Donald Trump in his infinite wisdom created a product that there were no demands for. See Trump's app is not just failing because of mismanagement and poor design. It's failing because of basic economic theories that you learn in macroeconomics. There was no demand, but you created the supply. And for what little demand there was, you didn't create enough supply. And still to be honest, I don't understand why a wait list even exists to be a user on this particular website. Unless of course they do not have the server capacity to house that many people sending out their truths, which is what they call their version of tweets, and if so, that is a horrendous failure on behalf of the app designers, the developers, the management.

Everybody along the chain of command should have understood that you need to have servers able to handle all of the traffic. So I'm assuming that's what it is. If it's literally anything else, then there's no excuse for it at all. And honestly, after several weeks of having the server problem that could have easily been fixed by now, especially depending on where you're hosting it, because I'm assuming they probably didn't buy the servers themselves. You make a phone call, say we need more space and usually within a couple hours it happens. But they haven't even done that. So everybody's waiting, everybody's watching and fewer and fewer people actually want to get on this stupid little app. And again, basic economics, if Trump had bothered to actually study anything, would've told him that this would've been a failure from the beginning. There's no demand for it. There's already an oversaturated market for conservative social media platforms, but there's not enough of a demand to really even warrant a single one of them.

But there's at least four now, maybe five, and it's all the same crap everywhere else and most of what you can already get on Twitter. So there's no point to it. Donald Trump himself, as we've pointed out, isn't even using the app. This thing is going to crash and burn even more so than it currently already is. And it's actually pretty funny.
