4:53Now PlayingDuring an interview with former Fox host Lou Dobbs this week, Marjorie Taylor Greene said that anyone joining the military today is "throwing their life away." This is a bold statement coming from a member of the "Support The Troops" Party, and should be used in every single attack ad coming from Democrats from now until November. Sure, there's more context to her statements, but that doesn't make it any better, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

You know, I'm old enough to remember during the Iraq war years being in this business here, Republicans had a favorite line of attack against Democrats and liberals and progressives and all these other labels that really didn't even exist back then. But nevertheless, if you were on the left, you were slammed as anti troop. You don't support the troops because you don't support the war in Iraq. Republicans ran on that talking point in 2004, they ran on it in 2008, they were still pushing it. You saw the bumper sticker, support the troops because Republicans were the party of course, that supported the troops, the Democrats on the other hand were the party that didn't support them and didn't care about them at all. Well, fast forward just about 10 years now and Marjorie Taylor Greene during a recent interview with former Fox news host Lou Dobbs, said that joining the military today is akin to throwing your life away.
Lou Dobbs said, who in his or her right mind would say, sign me up for that Sarge, basically talking about the Afghanistan withdrawal and how, you know, poor it was. And Marjorie Taylor Greene responded, not my son and I know a lot of young people don't want to have anything to do with that. It's like throwing your life away, not to mention how they've been forced to take the vaccine and the ones that didn't want to take it have been discharged. Who wants to be treated that way? It's a disaster from the top down and the bottom up. We can add in the training, the woke training, where they have to undergo this ridiculous ideology of the sick and Satanic left. So if you join the military right now, according to Marjorie Taylor Greene's own mouth, you're throwing your life away. If you're in the military right now, and you're going through any kind of training, it's ridiculous and you're not being trained properly.
So you, as a troop, as a soldier for the United States military, you're improperly trained and she think less of you. Now here's the thing. I'm not gonna get into, as some of these other folks have done talking about, oh, well, that's good. You know, military. No, I'm not. I'm not even gonna, I'm not even gonna touch on that, make your own opinions on that. But here's the thing. Republicans would use talking points like this against Democrats in the 2004 election, the 2008 election and even beyond that. So my message right now is that this little sound bite, because the video is readily available online, Democrats need to use this in every single Republican attack ad that they put out. Any ad mentioning Republicans needs to have Marjorie Taylor Greene saying it's like throwing your life away when talking about signing up for the United States military. Is it out of context to do that? A little bit. Context, of course doesn't really make it any better at all. But let the country know what this Republican idiot says about our troops, right?
That's kind of the one group that's like untouchable here in the United States and Marjorie Taylor Greene went there. She thinks if you're signing up for the military, if you're in the military right now as a new recruit, you've thrown your life away. You've thrown your life away is what this woman thinks of you. The Democrats better be using this in every single ad that they put out from now until the election. Use their own weapons against them Democrats. That's what I'm waiting to.
