The star witness in the Manhattan district attorney's investigation into Donald Trump, the witness whose own testimony and documents have basically formed the basis of this ongoing investigation has effectively given an ultimatum to those prosecutors, Alvin Bragg at the DA's office, the DA himself. That star witness of course is Michael Cohen. Donald Trump's former lawyer. And Cohen says, if you don't indict him in the next nine days, basically by April 30th at this point. So now we're down to what, eight days. If you don't indict him in the next eight days, I'm done. I'm no longer are working with you. I'm not gonna continue to, you know, come in and waste my time when clearly you have no interest in sending this guy to jail. And to be perfectly honest, I don't blame Michael Cohen because here's the situation. This is actually what's happening up there in New York. We know the prosecutors have resigned.

We know that Cy Vance before he left office was literally just days away from issuing indictments to Donald Trump. Alvin Bragg came in, said, nah uh, we're not doing that. But he swears the investigation's still ongoing. The two prosecutors who resigned said, we're ready to prosecute. We, we're pretty positive he committed crimes, Donald Trump. We wanna indict. This guy doesn't. So we're outta here. We're wasting our time. Cohen's telling us the same thing. Now on April 30th, the grand jury expires. So we have eight days left before the grand jury that has been impaneled in Manhattan. Time's up. They get to go home. Now, of course, the DA could request that they stay longer. And so that's a thing that could happen. They could extend the grand jury. But if they do not, and they still want to continue the investigation, they would have to impanel a new grand jury and basically re-present to them all of the testimony, all of the witnesses, all of the documents, everything that they have already done with the current grand jury. And that's what Michael Cohen is saying, I'm not doing that.

You visited me multiple times in prison. Once I was out, you brought me in, I worked with you. I spent hours and hours and days and days working with you people, giving you everything you needed, and I'm not gonna continue waste my time when it's clear that you don't want to indict this guy. And again, I wanna see Donald Trump indicted just as much as everybody else if he committed crimes. But I gotta take Michael Cohen's side here. Nobody wants to sit there and continue to go through that when you know that the guy on the other side of the table has no interest in what you're saying. Michael Cohen is very clear about the fact that he has given plenty of evidence of activity that is likely criminal. So to be doing that, to be handing all of this to that DA saying, you can hit him on this, on this, on this, on this. I did this with him, all of this. And the DA's just like, huh? Yeah, whatever, man. What's for lunch today? Oh, cool. You're not gonna want to continue working with that person. So I can't blame Michael Cohen for this. The only person to blame of course, is Alvin Bragg. That DA in Manhattan, who like so many other politicians we're seeing coming out of New York, is not only useless, but appears to be just a little bit corrupt as well.
