Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie clearly has a new talking point that he's trying to focus, and he's used it in multiple interviews recently. According to Christie, the Republican Party has to decided whether they are going to let Trump make them into the "party of me," or if they will rebuke him and go back to being the "party of we." I'm pretty sure Chris Christie is trying to run for president on the Republican ticket in 2024. And I say that because Chris Christie has been coming out more and more recently, not only attending events in early primary states, but also apparently focusing some of his, uh, new talking points. So let me read three separate quotes from Chris Christie, given on three separate occasions. And you tell me if you can, uh, figure out what he's trying to focus group here. First one is what he told Politico about a week ago. We have to be the party of tomorrow, not the party of yesterday, but more important than that, what we have to decide is do we want to be the party of me or the party of us? What Donald Trump has advocated is for us to be the party of me, that everything has to be about him and about his grievances.

So again, that is what he told Politico, but then he also said on guy Benson's Fox news radio program, he said, the mainstream media will over interpret this as being the end of Donald Trump in the Republican party. And it is far from it. But what it shows you is if he continues to look backwards, guy, he is not going to be a political force in this party for much longer. So once again, referring to looking backwards, not looking forwards. So here's what he had to say at a recent speech at Harvard university, you cannot stand behind the seal of the president of the United States in the east room of the white house and tell the American public that the election is stolen and not present them with any evidence that it's been stolen, because people will believe the president. A lot of people do and they think to themselves, well, he wouldn't say that unless he knew something, he knows nothing Christie concluded with.

So once again, referring to Donald Trump, sitting there still whining about the 2020 presidential election, which of course is looking backwards. Now you don't go out there speaking at all these various things, talking to the media and all that saying the same things, spitting out these same talking points, unless you're trying to shape a narrative. Now, Chris Christie, if he has no future political ambitions has no reason to shape a narrative, right? You don't have a dog in the fight anywhere, right? You're not running for office. You're not doing this. You're not doing that. So why are you trying to craft talking points here? Well, I think the reason is very clear. I think Chris Christie wants to run for president again in 2024. Now he did not do well at all in 2016, like Chris Christie failed hard, but he took a couple of Republicans like Marco Rubio down with him. I love to reference that video of him in the debate, really just ending Marco Rubio's presidential ambitions once. And for all it's beautiful. And Chris Christie like Donald Trump is in fact the bully, right? We've known that, but at the time in 2016, Chris Christie was still mired by

All his own scandals. Well, that was six years ago. The public has moved on. The public has forgotten, but more importantly, the public's threshold for acceptable public behavior has fallen down to the floor. Folks. Those things that Chris Christie did, right? Bridgegate the closing of the beach. So his fat could sit out there all day by himself. All of those things are like giant, nothing burgers compared to what we've seen for the last six years.
