Roger Stone, like many people on the far right, is not happy about Michael Sussman being acquitted, and he told Alex Jones this week that he is going to "start suing people" because of it. He wasn't exactly clear about who he would be suing or why, but he is certain that he will eventually get his revenge on someone. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains why any lawsuits filed at this point are more than likely going to fail.

Roger Stone is among the many Republicans who are furious about the fact that Michael Sussman was acquitted in the Durham investigation. The jury came back after six hours of deliberations and said, Nope, he's not guilty of lying to the FBI. So many Republicans. Trump has gone out. He's sent out his crazy statement. Trump Jr has done it. Fox news is doing it all these other Republicans, Marjorie Taylor green, and Roger Stone went on Alex Jones' show recently to express his frustrations about the Susman acquittal and about what he, Roger Stone is going to do about it. Here's what stone told Alex Jones. You had Hillary Clinton, donors and AOC donors on the jury. The jury four woman actually gave a press conference after the verdict and said lying to the FBIs no big deal. And the country has much larger issues. So this was a totally politicized and corrupted trial. Why Michael Sussman? He was the fall guy. He was the sacrificial lamb. He was the petsy. And even he didn't go down, I'm getting ready to start suing people. I really don't have any choice, but guess what, Alex, I'm going to Sue them in Florida, not in the district of Columbia. Wow.

Except Roger, you can't do that. I love it. I love how stupid these people are. It makes my job so much easier and a lot more fun. See, you can't just soothe them in Florida because you are in Florida, right? You would either have to Sue them where the injury occurred to the individual. So if you are in Florida and you suffered an injury from this Sussman verdict or the schemes you allege that they conducted. If you suffered the injury in Florida, you could file the lawsuit in Florida. Otherwise you're gonna have to go to where the injury was suffered or to where the crime occurred. Not Florida. We we've already seen that by the way, in the state of Florida, where our idiot Republican governor tried to Sue social media companies in Florida. And they said, actually, you, you have to do it in, in California.

They that's, that's where they are. Uh, that's what the arbitration agreement or not arbitration agreement. But what the other agreements you signed says, so yeah, uh, you can't forum shop basically, which is what Roger Stone would like to do. He would like to Sue them in a more friendly area for what? I don't know, like that's the other part of this? Like what are you even suing them for, for what is your damage? A what damage did you suffer personally? Because you would have to personally have suffered it in order to be able to file a lawsuit from any of these so-called schemes that you claim the Hillary Clinton campaign, Michael Sussman, uh, the Patsy, as you called him, what did they do to you? right. How was Roger Stone affected by this now? Listen,

Just because somebody is acquitted in a criminal trial doesn't mean they can't be held liable in a, uh, uh, civil trial. Right? We've seen that a lot high profile cases, uh, bill Cosby actually comes to mind cuz now he's about to face all the civil lawsuits. So yeah, it does happen all the time. But in this particular instance, again, Roger Stone, what's your injury. What happened to you as a result of what Sussman did? You're gonna start suing people. No what's gonna happen is you're gonna find a lawyer that's even dumber than you. Who's gonna file lawsuits. And the both of you are going to be laughed out of court.
