Biden Cuts Dangerous Deal With McConnell For Absolutely No Reason

President Biden cut a deal with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell this week to nominate an anti-abortion judge for a future vacancy in the state of Kentucky. In exchange, McConnell promised not to hold up future nominees for a period of time. But Biden has already had unprecedented success with his appointments, and there isn't even a vacancy in Kentucky to justify this deal that McConnell likely won't even stick to. President Biden this past week, decided to cut an unnecessary deal with house minority leader, a Senate minority leader, excuse me, Mitch McConnell, agreeing to appoint a man by the name of Chad Meredith to a federal court vacancy in the state of Kentucky in exchange for Mitch McConnell. You know, not blocking some of president Biden's future judicial nominees, uh, Meredith of course, was picked by Mitch McConnell, an anti-abortion Republican and Biden said, yeah, sure. Okay, I'll do that. You just gotta not block my people for a while. And here is why I say this is completely unnecessary. First and foremost, president Biden has already appointed, appointed more federal judges at this point in his presidency than even Donald Trump had. He has had unprecedented success with appointing federal judges, even as bad as Trump was, Trump was doing more than anybody else Biden's done even more than him, right?

I've done stories on that. Biden's not having trouble getting his judicial nominees on the bench. So that's reason. Number one, why this deal wasn't even necessary. Number two, there's not even a federal vacancy in Kentucky right now for Mr. Chad Meredith to be appointed to this is just, you know, for a future, if something opens up, you gotta do this. So why are we even making deals on hypotheticals? That that was not a smart move by president Biden again, then of course, number three, the biggest reason of all, why this is a stupid idea because Mitch McConnell is a slimy bastard that can't be trusted. If you think for a second, Mitch McConnell is gonna honor any kind of deal that he makes with president Biden. Then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I can sell for you, uh, sell to you for very cheap.

McConnell's not gonna honor any deal. The guy doesn't even honor his own deals. Remember when he held that Supreme court seat hostage for 12 months after Scalia died because, oh, you can't appoint a Supreme court justice in an election year. And then literally four years later, he rushed through Amy Coney Barrett after Ruth Bader Ginsburg died. Yeah. He can't even adhere to his own statements folks because he doesn't care because Mitch McConnell is never going to face any actual consequences for this. The man is going to die holding onto that Senate seat that he has had since I was two years old. And the voters in Kentucky still love him. They're not gonna get rid of him. They're just gonna keep voting and voting and voting. So Mitch McConnell can do whatever the hell he wants. He could come out right now and say that, yeah, we made the deal and guess what? I'm not gonna honor it. And I guarantee you Biden would still say, but I'm still gonna do it. You know, cuz I believe deep down in the end he'll do the right thing.

No he won't. You got played. You got played on so many different levels and you don't even realize it. You weren't having trouble getting your judicial judicial nominees through the Senate, but you cut this deal anyway to put this anti-abortion Republican for on a lifetime appointment on that bench. All because you think you can trust Mitch McConnell.
