A prison warden in Florida has been given a promotion just days after being hit with a lawsuit accusing him of ignoring the rampant abuse and rape of inmates at the hands of prison staff. This is what happens all throughout the policing and prison system in the United States, and those who commit the most egregious acts are quietly shifted into new roles that are often viewed as being "promotions." Recently a warden here in the state of Florida at a low correctional institution, which has a horrible history of violence against inmates perpetrated by prison. Staff was given a cushy promotion, right? He was moved up the chain, given more money in the letter, telling him he got the word. The word promotion was underlined all in caps, big letter, letting him know you are being promoted, uh, warden, Steven Rossiter, and this letter informing him of his promotion came literally just days after he had been hit with a pretty massive lawsuit because of all of the abuse taking place again at the hands of the prison guards and other prison staffers against the inmates in his very prison local correctional Institute. Oh, and he was also hit with another lawsuit because he ignored, uh, the rape that was taking place in his very prison. So this guy was the warden. He's in charge of the whole prison going back for several years. And we know this because of complaints filed with the us department of justice investigations that happened from the us department of justice into the horrendous behavior at this Lowell correctional Institute, this has been confirmed inmates, beaten senseless inmates, raped all of it again at the hands of the prison staff.

But instead of punishing him, you know, this investigation, by the way, concluded in 2020, where it confirmed all this stuff happening at Rossiter's prison. Two years later, he's still there. And now he gets a promotion right after he gets sued for all of these things. Do you know why? Because it's kind of like the Catholic church sex abuse cover up instead of firing him, instead of disciplining him, he's just getting moved to somewhere else. Except in this particular case, that somewhere else happens to be a better position. That's gonna give him more money. So he is actually being rewarded for this, but removed of course from the prison, you know, to kind of say like, oh look, we changed the prison. It's not the same guy doing all the abuse anymore. It's a whole new guy doing all the abuse because that's what happens. The prison system is a part of the judicial system. The prison system is a part of our policing system here in the United States. And it's all the same. It doesn't matter if it's those police officers that you see on camera shooting, unarmed people, shooting people who are clearly not a threat. It doesn't matter if it's a prison guard or a prison warden doing horrible things to inmates. What happens to these people is they just get moved around. Oh, we got rid of that bad guy. Don't

Worry about it. He's not here anymore. Everything is changed. It's all sunshine and unicorns down here. And what they don't tell you is that, oh, we just moved that other guy to a different place. Yeah. He's in this prison now. Oh yeah. This cop. He's not on our force anymore. He just moved one town over he's over there now, but don't, don't pay attention to that. That's their problem. That's what they do because it's a big, giant brotherhood of individuals who protect one another at any cost.
