24 Secret Service Agents Have Phones Seized As Part Of Continuing Investigation

It was revealed on Tuesday the 24 Secret Service agents had their phones seized by investigators as part of the criminal investigation taking place inside the agency. The Inspector General actually seized these items several months ago, but the news was not made public until yesterday. It is unclear what kind of information the investigators are looking for on the devices, but with two dozen taken, it seems like investigators know exactly who to target. It was revealed yesterday that the Inspector General that is investigating the Secret Service for their role on January 6th, has confiscated 24 cell phones of their agents that were involved in the response to January 6th. Now, one report says 25. The rest of the reports out there say 24. So we're gonna go on the safe side and say 24 agents had their phones seized. But here's the thing, those phones were not seized yesterday. When this report came out, these phones were seized, Phones were seized sometime around July 19th. So for roughly two months, the Inspector General Man, by the name of, uh, Joseph Kfar, has had these cell phones in, in his possession.

And what's he done with him? See, that's the big question, that not only the public has, but also Secret Service agents themselves have had for, again, roughly two months wondering what is this guy doing? In fact, some Secret Service agents have actually filed a complaint arguing that Mr. Qari, the Inspector General from the Department of Homeland Security, who was by the way, appointed by Donald Trump and still in Power for some reason, they're saying that he is the one stonewalling this investigation and that he is, according to their complaint, changing reports before he sends them out. So this isn't just a story about potential wrongdoing on behalf of the Secret Service with regard to the response to January 6th, But those agents there, the good ones in the agency, I'm assuming obviously those not being investigated, are also trying to warn the Department of Homeland Security that this guy is not doing what you think he's doing.

He's not doing what he's supposed to be doing. In fact, he's kind of doing the opposite. Could you maybe do something about it? And that's the conundrum that we're in right now. We don't know what information, if any, he has gotten off these cell phones. We don't even know because of the complaints that agents have filed against him, if he's actually even looking at them. Or did he just do it to kind of be like, Okay, uh, gimme your phones. All right, I got 'em. We'll figure this out. Just so people would think he's doing something, but then he turns around and does nothing. We don't know. And that of course, is always the most frustrating part of any of this. We don't know. But what we do know about this Kfar character shouldn't leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling on the inside, because the good agents that are still at the Secret Service are telling us in their complaints, This guy's not doing the job. This guy might be protecting the people

Who have done something wrong. And of course, their big concern about that is if that is what's happening, it's just gonna continue to taint the entire agency. So maybe it's time to have a different Inspector General, maybe put an Inspector General on the Inspector General's inspection. I don't know what the solution is, but I know that the people in charge of this probably need to come up with one before Qari releases a final report saying Everything's great, everything's grand, and nobody in my agency did anything wrong because that, based on the complaint from the Secret Service is probably where we're headed.
