Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Herschel Walker Lost Because He Didn't Want Her Help

Following Herschel Walker's loss in Tuesday's runoff election, Marjorie Taylor Greene was quick to jump forward and say that she could have saved his election, and that she was "insulted" that he didn't ask for her help. Walker received help from the biggest names that the Republican Party has to offer, and if they couldn't save him, it is unlikely that the universally-despised Greene could have made a difference. Following Herschel Walker's defeat on Tuesday. Marjorie Taylor Green did an interview on Wednesday where she talked about how rude it was and how insulted she was that she wasn't even asked to go out there and help Herschel Walker. Now, as everybody by this point knows Herschel Walker was helped out by the big dogs in the Republican Party, of which Marjorie Taylor Green is not a member of. She's not part of that pack, but they brought out Lindsay Graham, they brought out Ted Cruz. They were right there with him every time he went on tv. So he didn't say anything stupid. They handled the tough questions. They had to treat Herschel Walker with kid gloves because he was such a bad candidate. And now, Marjorie Taylor Green says, had you unleashed me, I absolutely could have helped save his campaign. So here's what she said during this interview.

This is for McConnell and Lindsey Graham and the rest of the Republican senators. You guys are the reasons why we're losing Republican races all over the country, and this is your third loss in my home state. So let me inform you on behalf of Georgia, this is your third strike and you are out. I was never asked. Oh, I was never asked very often by the Herschel Walker campaign to come speak at any of his campaign events. They only asked me to, maybe two, I think two or three in my own district when he was campaigning all over the state running for Senate. But they only asked me a couple times in my own district, which I find extremely insulting. The audacity and really frank rudeness of the campaign consultants and Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham, where they thought, you know, we're going to keep Marjorie Taylor Green away from Herschel Walker and we don't need her voice at this campaign rally and events where we're campaigning all over the state, I think is really a major mistake and an insult to me and insult to people who support me and Republicans all over Georgia.

Here's the thing, Marjorie, the only reason, the only reason you are a member of Congress, the only reason anyone outside of your immediate family knows who the hell you even are is because you are in a deep red district that you basically stand no chance of ever losing. You're not popular, is what I'm saying. You're in a safe Republican district, you could put a turd with an R on it, and it's gonna be to Democrat in that district, which is kind of what they did with you. But you travel outside that district. You travel to other parts of Georgia, you're not popular. People do not universally like you. You have already proven in your summer 2021 tour with Matt Gates that you do not have widespread appeal. Yeah, you get to appear at cpac. Yeah, you get to show up at the Turning Point USA conferences, and you come out there like a rockstar with pyrotechnics coming up off the stage, but you're playing to a crowd of even 10,000 people, which is huge for a crowd.

But you spread those 10,000 people out across 50 different states, you know, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of different districts. It's nothing. Yes, when you consolidate them all in a single room and oh, the people love you. It looks big. But those people aren't all in the same district. They're not even all in the same state. That power gets diluted once those people go back home. You are not universally well liked. You would not have helped Herschel Walker's campaign. In fact, your presence would've helped Raphael Warnock. I wish they would've let you go out there and and campaign for Herschel.
