Trump Officials Hit With MAJOR Subpoena As Investigation Escalates

Among the items requested are verified documents and contracts showing who is paying for the legal representation of these individuals, which could mean that the DOJ is looking at possible obstruction or witness tampering as part of the investigation. More information was released this week from the Washington Post about these subpoenas that Trump campaign officials were hit with late last month. And what we know now is that the DOJ special prosecutor, Jack Smith, is not just following the money, but it looks like based on the information in these subpoenas, he is trying to build a case showing that the Trump team knew from the start that all of the claims they were making about the election being stolen were completely false. So one of the things we learned this week is that they want information about who is paying for who's lawyers. And that, by the way, goes back to the January 6th committee. And one of the reasons they might be so interested in that is because of Cassidy Hutchinson. Now, Cassidy Hutchinson, former a DeMar Meadows, did originally have a lawyer that was being paid for by Trump's team.

That lawyer instructed her to lie, instructed her to say, I don't recall. During interviews, she got rid of that lawyer, paid for her own lawyer. And once she started paying for her own lawyer, that's when she started singing like a bird to the committee, giving them all of the information that they wanted. Plenty of other officials from the Trump administration, who by the way, did have lawyers paid for by the Trump, uh, uh, campaign. They all said the same line. I don't recall when they were asked the tough questions, which is exactly what Cassidy Hutchinson was instructed to say by her. Trump paid for lawyer. So part of this could be that the DOJ special prosecutor Jack Smith, is looking at possible witness tampering, is looking at possible obstruction. Those are two I, I know it's weird to say this, but there are two relatively minor crimes, but doing that could lead certain individuals to crack.

You know, if you can go to them and say, listen, we can pop you on obstruction right now. We can get you for tampering. We could easily file these charges against you before the end of the day and have you processed or, or we can pretend that didn't happen and you can start telling us everything. You know, right? That's how you get people to flip. You gotta have a little bit of dirt on them in order to get them to flip and cooperate. That could be what the DOJ is doing right now. Another thing that these new subpoenas are seeking is any communication between any Trump campaign officials about dominion, voting systems and smart medic. What experts believe they're looking for there is to see if in any internal communications, any Trump officials raised concerns that the things that are being said about these two companies were totally bogus. If they can show that they all knew these claims were bogus, they have

An an easier chance of proving fraud against the United States. So could be looking at witness tampering, could be looking at obstruction, could be looking at fraud against the United States. I think it's actually all three and then some at this point. But definitely following the money is going to yield something for them. And of course, getting these internal communications that have now been subpoenaed, that is definitely going to help the case for fraud against the United States. And that would be the big one. That's the one, you know, really, if you can get Trump on that, you can get 'em for the rest of the things. So that's the big fish. And based on what the legal experts are seeing in these subpoenas, that appears to be where Jack Smith is headed.
